The resist ending is nothing but simple nihilism. I would call that a feel good ending. Far Cry games haven't had feel good endings since the first. But hey, whichever ending you like is the good ending for you. The game has both endings included for a reason. Though the resist ending is considered the true ending.
Personally I also thought the ending was rushed, Diego had a lot of potential and you don’t even get the satisfaction of killing Castillo in the end, did not enjoy it at all, but I understand what you are saying, I loved farcry 5 and it is my favourite video game to date and you can’t kill seed in that either
